Why did you start snowboarding?

My family moved to Alaska when i was in 6th grade. I was already into skating a ton so it just kinda happened.

What year did you make a profession out of it?

I think it was 2003

What has been the most memorable experience so far in your career?

I think that first trip for Shakedown with Mikey, Seth, JP, and Jeremy to Burlington, VT. That was a rude awakening on what it takes to film a video part.

What has been the most rewarding part of Snowboarding for you?

Traveling has been the best. I got a chance to go see a ton of places I never thought I’d see.

Why do you still do it?

I still get super excited when I see the first snow in the mountains. I always said that if I ever stop getting excited about that I would stop snowboarding professionally.

How did you get to where you are now?

I think its a lot of luck and help from really good people.

What is something people should know about you that Magazines and Video’s don’t tell them?

I think that sometimes my video parts kinda show me in a more angry light. I’m really a mellow person,
i get mad like everyone i just get it captured on video.

What other snowboarders motivated you in the beginning?

Peter Line, JP, Jeremy, Mikey Leblanc

What keeps you motivated to keep pushing it?

I just really love snowboarding and filming. Its not that hard to go do what you love.
